Blackjack, also called twenty-one, is a card game, typical of casinos with one or more French decks of 52 cards without wild cards, which consists of adding a value as close to 21 but without going over.

Blackjack is a game without a completely clear and defined origin, which has as its precursor the game of twenty-one, also of unknown origin. However, the first written and direct references to this game appear in Miguel de Cervantes' work "Rinconete y Cortadillo". Work that is about two rogue men from Seville who make a living playing twenty-one.

D. Miguel de Cervantes tells us in this way that twenty-one was already played in the 17th century.
